Man exposed himself to girls near Swansea school before cycling away

A man on a bike indecently exposed himself to girls near a Swansea school.

Police are appealing for information after the report of indecent exposure on De La Beche Road in Sketty around 5.30pm yesterday.

The road is home to Bishop Gore Comprehensive School, which has more than one thousand pupils – although it remains closed due to Covid lockdown.

A South Wales Police spokesman said: “Two girls reported that a man cycled past them and indecently exposed himself to them.

“He is described as a white man, about 40-50 years old with a beard”.

The incident is the latest in a series of incidents of alleged indecent exposure in the central Swansea area over recent months.

In November two friends reported being confronted by a man on Brynymor Road in Brynmill who exposed himself while he was walking – approximately a mile and a half from yesterday’s incident in Sketty.

The suspect was described as slim, white, around 6ft tall and aged in his 30s to 40s

South Wales Police said they were investigating the possibility the same suspect in that case may be responsible for another two indecent exposure cases in Gower Road.

The first occurred at about 3pm on Tuesday, October 20 and the second occurred at about 4pm on Wednesday, October 21.
