Man and woman forced way into flat and threatened and robbed occupant

A man was robbed and threatened inside his own flat by two people who forced their way in.

Police are investigating after the incident which took place in the Waun Wen area of Swansea on the morning of Monday, December 7.

A man and a woman forced their way into the victim’s property and threatened him whilst searching his property.

Officers have released a description of the people responsible in the hope of tracking down the culprits.

A statement from South Wales Police read: “We are appealing for information after a robbery in Joseph Davies Close, Waun Wen, on December 7, which happened at around 8.45am.

“A man and woman forced their way into the victim’s flat and threatened him while a search was made of his property.

“The victim was not injured during the incident. The suspects are described as a white man, about 6ft tall. He was wearing a thick black jacket with wool on the outside and had the hood up and navy jeans. The second suspect is a white woman, about 5ft 5ins tall, of skinny build. She was wearing a black jacket with the hood up and leggings.

“We are appealing for anyone who was in the Joseph Davies Close, Carmarthen Road, Lions Street and Ysgubor Road areas on December 7 between 8-9am and has dashcam footage to please contact us.”
