Kendal Mountain Tour 2023: A Night Of Adventure In Pontardawe

20th April @ 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm

£9.35 – £13.75

Unleash your wild side…

Join us for an evening celebrating adventure from some of the most spectacular places on earth, brought to you by the world’s biggest mountain Festival – Kendal Mountain Festival.

A chance to watch a selection of award-winning films from high altitude adventure to cinematically beautiful tales showcasing wilderness and adventure travel from across the globe.

The event will be introduced by adventurer and TV producer Antonia Bolingbroke-Kent.

Antonia Bolingbroke-Kent is an author and broadcaster with a particular love of wandering alone through remote regions. Her love of extreme travel has seen her trek across the Eastern Himalayas in search of Shangri-La, set an unlikely Guinness World Record for driving a tuk tuk 12,500 miles from Bangkok to Brighton, follow the remains of the Ho Chi Minh Trail on a tiny motorcycle and interview Naga rebel commanders high in the mountains of the Indo-Myanmar border.

Her latest book, Land of the Dawn-lit Mountains, was Shortlisted for the 2018 Stanford’s Adventure Travel Book of the Year. Antonia’s stories have appeared in The Guardian, The Telegraph, Sidetracked, Geographical and she has presented a number of documentaries for BBC Radio 4.
