Get Moving is the first exhibition of Moving Marks.

11 female artists share their interpretations and vision of female empowerment, resilience, strength and letting go from both personal and broader social, political and environmental perspectives.

With various marks, medium, messages and inspirations, Get Moving is a powerful, thought provoking and emotional exhibition. Sculpture, ceramics, installations, paintings, films, and photography will be on display at the Volcano Theatre Swansea from 4^th March to 27^th March 2026. Supporting events and workshops such as art & wellbeing, poetry, song and dance will take place during the exhibition. Moving Marks is an eleven women art collective from South Wales.

In late 2024 eleven female artists came together to talk about and explore their artistic ideas and concepts. Different backgrounds, life experiences, artistic tendencies and practices with one common desire to create and share our voices together through the power of art. We communicate, support and empower, whether it be through ideas, stories, guidance or encouragement. Collectively we are a strong creative force.
